Marton Mills introduces the British Wool Collection — proudly stamped with the Shepherd’s Crook mark, the recognised symbol of British Wool provenance. Every design in this collection is woven entirely from 100% British wool, crafted at our British wool mill in West Yorkshire. The collection comprises three distinct ranges, each offering its own character, craftsmanship and connection to the landscape. Leathley Leathley is produced within a 50‑mile radius from fleece to fabric, embodying true local provenance. This range celebrates the beauty of British wool through iconic and enduring designs such as Prince of Wales and houndstooth checks. Its undyed and muted tones echo the peat moorlands and slate roofs that scatter the hillsides surrounding our wool mill, grounding the cloth in the landscape that inspires it. For more on local spinning heritage, explore Laxtons — one of our trusted Yorkshire spinners. Brimham Brimham invites you to re‑imagine what British wool can be. It celebrates vibrant colour, joyful expression and, most importantly, the farmers behind the fibre. Named after the sculptural rocks of Brimham, the collection draws inspiration from the adrenaline‑fuelled climb…
